Jason Few, President, Chief Executive Officer

President, Chief Executive Officer

Jason Few is President and CEO of FuelCell Energy, Inc, a global leader in fuel cell technology focused on distributed power, hydrogen, energy storage, and carbon capture. FuelCell Energy’s purpose is to enable a world empowered by clean energy. For more than 30 years, he has been a business leader, entrepreneur, and technology leader across various industries, often all at once.

Jason has worked at the intersection of transformation across technology and energy for Global Fortune 500, small/mid-cap, and privately held energy, technology, and telecommunications firms including NRG/Reliant, Continuum Energy, Motorola, and Sustayn Analytics L.L.C., a hardware and cloud-based data analytics recycling software as a service company. Jason is renowned for his decisive stance on high-stakes projects, including Reliant Energy, where he engineered a billion-dollar turnaround, transforming it into a multi-brand, multi-product consumer services company, much like the transformation he is also engineering at FuelCell Energy.

Jason is a member of The Business Council, serves on the Boards of FuelCell Energy, Inc., Enbridge Inc., and formally served on the Boards of Marathon Oil Corporation and Syniverse Technologies. He is also a member of the Hydrogen Council. Jason has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Systems in Business from Ohio University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Michael Bishop, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer

Mr. Bishop was appointed Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary, and Treasurer in June 2011. He has nearly 20 years of experience in financial operations and management with public high growth technology companies with a focus on capital raising, project finance, debt/treasury management, acquisition integration, strategic planning, internal controls, and organizational development. Since joining the Company in 2003, Mr. Bishop has held a succession of financial leadership roles including Assistant Controller, Corporate Controller and Vice President and Controller. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Inc., Mr. Bishop held finance and accounting positions at TranSwitch Corporation, Cyberian Outpost, Inc. and United Technologies, Inc. He is a certified public accountant and began his professional career at McGladrey and Pullen, LLP. Mr. Bishop also served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Bishop received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston University in 1993 and a MBA from the University of Connecticut in 1999.

Joshua Dolger, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Joshua Dolger was appointed by FuelCell Energy’s Board of Directors as the Company’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in December 2021. Josh had been serving as interim General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since June 2021.

Josh has extensive experience in corporate and public company legal practice. Prior to joining the FuelCell Energy in May 2021, Josh held a variety of legal positions of increasing responsibility at the headquarters of Terex Corporation, a publicly traded company and a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and materials processing machinery, including Assistant General Counsel from January 2016 to March 2021. At Terex Corporation, Josh provided legal counsel to executive management on a wide range of matters including Securities and Exchange Commission filings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contract drafting and negotiation, and implementation of the company’s multi-year strategic supply chain initiative.

Prior to joining Terex Corporation in 2007, Josh was a senior corporate attorney at Pullman & Comley, LLC. Josh received a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany and is a member of the State Bar in both Connecticut and New York.

Mark Feasel, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer

Mark Feasel was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of FuelCell Energy in April of 2022. Mark brings more than two decades of commercial leadership experience in the energy sector to his role. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Mark held various leadership positions at Schneider Electric USA, most recently as the President of the Electrical Utility & Smart Grid North American division. Mark began his career in the U.S. Navy, where he was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the systems associated with the nuclear reactor plant on a ballistic missile submarine. He received several commendations during his time of service.

As a member of the company’s executive team, Mark focuses on increasing market share, top line revenue, margin, and the sales of FuelCell Energy’s solutions for hydrogen production and lower-carbon power. He oversees sales, origination, partnership development, channel development, project and business development, and new market entry. He directs all commercial activities of the organization globally as FuelCell Energy continues to lead in decarbonizing energy and clean hydrogen technology development.

Anthony Leo, Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Tony joined FCE in 1978 and has held key leadership roles in research, development, and commercialization of electrochemical systems during his tenure. He is well known throughout the battery and fuel cell industry, and has authored numerous papers, contributed to technical books, holds several US Patents, and has served as Chairman of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers PTC-50 Fuel Cell Performance Test Code committee and as a member on the Department of Energy's (DOE) Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC). Tony has held numerous positions in the company involved in managing advanced research and development as well as commercialization of the company’s fuel cell products.

Mr. Leo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Michael Lisowski, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Lisowski was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2019. He has more than 25 years of international operations experience in technology-driven businesses with direct responsibility for supply chain, manufacturing, quality, project management, EH&S and plant engineering functions. Since joining the company in 2001, Mr. Lisowski has held a range of supply chain and operations leadership roles, including Vice President of Supply Chain and Vice President of Global Operations. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Inc. Mr. Lisowski held procurement and supply management positions at Electronic Retailing Systems International, Inc. and Gretag Imaging, Inc. Mr. Lisowski holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Administration from Western New England University and a Master of Science in Management, Global Supply Chain Integration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Jill Crossman, Senior Vice President, Global Controller

Jill Crossman was promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Controller in April 2020. She is an experienced financial professional with over 30 years of experience in accounting operations, financial planning & analysis, and ERP implementations with a focus on high tech public manufacturing companies. Since joining the Company in 2005, Jill has held a series of accounting leadership roles including Controller, Manufacturing Operations and Vice President, Operations Finance. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Jill worked for 16 years at Ingersoll-Rand progressing through various financial positions of increasing responsibility; most recently as Operations Controller for a $350M international division. Jill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1989 and became a Certified Management Accountant in 2008.

Karen Farrell, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Karen Farrell joined FuelCell Energy as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, in August 2023. In this role, she serves on the CEO’s leadership team and focuses on the vision, strategy, and execution of strategic imperatives related to FuelCell Energy’s people agenda.

Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Karen was the Senior Vice President, Global Talent & Total Rewards for CWT, a global travel management company that manages business travel, meetings, incentives, conferencing, and event management based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At CWT she developed the global talent and total rewards strategies to attract, retain, engage and orient critical talent.

Karen spent 22 years with the pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals USA based in Ridgefield, Connecticut. During that time, she held increasing levels of Human Resources leadership responsibilities, holding roles as Vice President, US Total Rewards, Vice President, HR Business Partner, Human Pharmaceutical, Vice President Talent Management US & Americas and various Human Resources Business Partnering and Human Resource compliance roles.

Earlier in her career, Karen held human resources roles at Diversified Investment Advisor, Purchase, New York and Prudential Relocation Valhalla, New York.

Karen earned a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Manhatanville College in New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.

Tom Gelston, Senior Vice President, Finance and Investor Relations

Tom Gelston joined FuelCell Energy in February 2018, and is Senior Vice President, Finance and Investor Relations with responsibility for financing activities at both the corporate and project level, as well as the investor relations function of the Company. Tom has over 20 years’ experience in various financial roles. Most recently, he was a Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications with Terex Corporation, a Fortune 500 diversified machinery manufacturer. Additionally during his 18 year Terex career at Terex, Tom held responsibilities in business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and financial planning and analysis. Prior to working with Terex, he worked in private equity, as well as with GE Capital’s Commercial Finance division focused on asset based lending. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Fairfield University.

Lilyanne McClean, Senior Vice President, Global Public Policy and Government Affairs

Lilyanne McClean joined FuelCell Energy as Senior Vice President of Global Public Policy and Government Affairs in September 2022 . She has over 30 years of business, policy and communications experience and an established reputation as a “game changer,” who thinks big and can implement complex strategies. Lilyanne has worked at all levels government.

Prior to joining Fuel Cell Energy, she served as the President of Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a $25 million business organization in Texas created to ensure a fair and efficient civil justice system. Immediately before this role, Lilyanne was the Executive Vice President for Public Policy and Communications at the Greater Houston Partnership, a $12 million business organization that has led the state in economic development, public policy implementation and advocacy. As the only EVP, Lilyanne was responsible for driving success in two major departments, as well as supporting the CEO, influencing the senior leadership team, the supporting organization’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She directly partnered with CEOs from the energy, telecommunications and technology sectors and managed key issues affecting all companies, including tax policy, corporate governance and ESG issues.

Lilyanne was recruited to the GHP from a global public relations firm in Washington, D.C. that specialized in supporting highly regulated industries with public affairs, public relations, and strategic communications services. She also spent 12 years at American Express Company in several senior positions, in New York and Washington, D.C. This includes serving as the Vice President for global government affairs, directing teams in Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and the Caribbean.

Lilyanne holds a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, a master’s degree in communications from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Montclair State University, a liberal arts college in New Jersey that has received national awards for producing the best teachers in the country.

Parimal , Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer

Parimal joined FuelCell Energy as Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer in May of 2022. He has proven experience executing international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures. Parimal has run the international division of a multinational company in Italy and has also served as the Vice President of Business Development for Terex Corporation, a global manufacturer of materials processing machinery and aerial work platforms. Parimal has a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT BHU, a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, and an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He will drive strategic growth initiatives around the globe that allow FuelCell Energy to scale, generate top line revenue growth, and continue to increase the company’s overall financial position.

Betsy Schaefer, Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer

Betsy Schaefer joined FuelCell Energy in June 2021 and is Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer. Previously, she led marketing for IBM’s Watson artificial intelligence product portfolio, helping commercialize Watson from a research project to a major platform with more than 40,000 customers globally. She built a progressive career in the IT industry, with extensive experience in corporate communications, speechwriting, brand management, thought leadership and marketing. Betsy holds a Master’s in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University.

John Torrance, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercialization and Solid Oxide Manufacturing Officer

John Torrance joined FuelCell Energy as Senior Vice President of Solid Oxide Manufacturing in June of 2022. John was given the additional responsibility of Chief Commercialization Officer in December of 2022, which broadens his focus to include the commercial product portfolio of the Company's Carbonate platform and all future product offerings. John brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing and operations management to his role at FuelCell Energy. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, John served as the Vice President of Supply Chain – Americas for Elements Solutions, where he was responsible for 12 plants across multiple commercial business units. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and has an extensive background in the sectors of chemicals, alternative energy, military, and aerospace. John’s expertise is in plant start-ups, commercialization of new technologies, and developing and integrating operational business processes that are sustainable and scalable.
